Picture this: It’s 5 o’clock in the morning on any given Sunday. Last night you went on eventful date with your girl. Come home, bam amazing sex! The hair pulling, booty smacking, infinite amount a lube around kinda sex that makes you want to brag to your friends about, but you can’t because you don’t want them to know how your girl gets down. But now she grinding on you, letting you know she’s ready for round two. How you gonna act? This isn’t the first time this has happened either. She wants it all the time, maybe two/three times a day, every day, and to be honest she wants it more than you do. Will this cause a strain in your relationship?
The simple truth is everybody’s sex drive is different. Some want it all the time, while others can do without it period. Wherever you fall on the spectrum it’s ok, your desires are just that, YOUR desires. I wouldn’t be so quick to label anyone with an extremely high sex drive a nympho. What is a nympho anyways? The word was coined in the last 18th century by a European man, in a time where women weren’t “supposed” to be sexually open and expressive. Over the years, it became the cultural norm that women should not want sex as much, or more than their male partners (insert sigh here). However, we now know all people have different needs and desires in the bedroom.
For lasting relationships that are sexually active, it’s important to have open and honest conversations with your partner(s) about your needs. If they are so different that one is super high, while the other is super low, then a discussion should be made on how to compromise that meets everybody needs. Find new ways to explore your sex life with you partner(s), and you might just find out, that you gotta have it too!
